My Sathguru Sri Shirdi Sai Baba always insists on 'Shraddha' (Faith / Trust) and 'Saburi' (Patience / Perseverance); I pray that his grace always brings me happiness and success in all my virtuous endeavours.
Thanks to my family, friends and well-wishers for encouraging me to create this blog, where I can share my thoughts.

    My mother had great faith in Sri Sai Baba of Shirdi, and some of her faith has rubbed off on me.
    Recently, I have got hooked on the TV series being shown on Sony channel, which is very nicely done.

I developed a special attraction towards the sacred mountain Thiruvannamalai when I was about 10 yrs old; thanks to the Tamil movie 'Arunagirinathar', telecasted by Door-Darshan (Chennai) then. Though I have been hearing about Ramana Maharishi since my adolescence, I realized the greatness of beloved Baghavan only when I was about 24 yrs old. This strange yet strong divine experience embraced me when I happened to read Ramana Maharishi's story in 'Amar Chithra Katha'  (a story book series meant for kids, with pictorial representations). This story about Bhagavan made me realize that what I have been wanting to become, all these years, is what Ramana was and is. It is a blessing to have a father about whom a daughter can be proud of; I am blessed indeed.  My father   Mr.R.Sivasaravanan  (7 th  Feb 1949 – 22 nd  June 2012) has always been a pious, magnanimous, polite, prudent, intelligent, innovative, calm, self-disciplined and knowledgeable gentle man. He dedicated his life for gaining knowledge in as many fields of life as possible and for his spiritual upliftment as well. God gave him to us for He loved us and took him back for He loved him. I am proud to state that my father was the inventor of ‘Improvised connecting-rod mechanism for Diesel Engines’ for improving fuel efficiency, to decrease exhaust emission & to increase engine life. He presented his invention  at IIT Madras  and received the LRAMP 2007 Award in ‘Grass Root Innovator category’ for the same, from the honourable hands of Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam.
